Digital Permit Book replaces the paper permit book with a single system for every document a fleet has to keep, carry, and produce on demand. Company permits, IFTA nd IRP credentials, registrations, insurance, driver files, and vehicle and trailer paperwork all live in one dashboard. Documents are assigned at the fleet, driver, vehicle, or trailer level, uploaded in bulk thousands at a time, and replaced across an entire registration cycle in minutes rather than weeks.
Through the Platform Science integration, those documents reach the driver automatically. Drivers open Digital Permit Book on the tablet with single sign-on and see exactly the set that matches their current tractor and trailer. Swap a trailer and the paperwork swaps with it, with no action from the driver or the office. Everything is stored on the device and refreshed in the background, so a driver at a weigh station or on a rural shoulder has full access with no signal, and can view, email, or share any document on the spot.
The app does more than carry paperwork. Drivers send documents back from the road, complete forms assigned to them, and look up any company contact without calling dispatch. DPB AI Chat answers questions in plain language, straight from company documents and handbooks.
