2026 FreightTech 25
Platform Science once again was included in the FreightTech 25 awards honoring the most innovative companies in transportation and logistics. Platform Science ranked #4 in this, the eighth year of the awards. Winners are selected by industry experts looking for disruptive technologies, as well as real-world impact, efficiency, automation (like AI), visibility, and new models in logistics.

Compiled by FeedSpot, this award names the 100 best Fleet Management blogs from thousands of blogs on the web, ranked by relevancy, authority, social media followers, and freshness. The Platform Science blog ranks at #27.

Trimble Acquisition
In February 2025, Platform Science completed the acquisition of Trimble’s global transportation telematics business units. As part of the transaction, Trimble becomes a shareholder in Platform Science’s expanded business and receives a seat on Platform Science’s board of directors. Trimble is joining C.R. England, Cummins, Daimler Truck, PACCAR, Prologis, RyderVentures, and Schneider as a strategic investor in Platform Science. Learn more >>
Jack Kennedy Delivers Keynote at TMC 2025
Platform Science co-founder and CEO Jack Kennedy delivered the keynote address at American Trucking Association’s Technology & Maintenance Council (TMC) 2025, sharing his vision for the broader connected freight ecosystem for commercial trucking. He explained that as trucks become smarter and the Age of Innovation advances, fleets need to be prepared to deal with a “disruptive” shift in technology that is breaking down silos of data and improving connectivity. ATA Corporate Partner
The American Trucking Associations announced a Corporate Partner Program Agreement with Platform Science. This program highlights key products and services for motor carriers from Allied Members of the ATA. Trucker Path
Trucker Path announced that its full suite of driver-centric tools and solutions is now available through the Platform Science Virtual Vehicle Marketplace. This integration delivers real-time access to trusted maps, truck-optimized routing, and resource locating – providing drivers and dispatchers with a unified experience that improves safety, increases efficiency, and reduces friction between the cab and back office. Anderson Trucking Service (ATS)
Platform Science’s driver and back-office apps and solutions were deployed across ATS’s fleet of 1,500 trucks, which includes flatbed, heavy haul, specialized, and dry van equipment. ATS’s drivers will now be able to access telematics, software solutions, real-time vehicle data, and top third-party applications directly from their vehicles, improving productivity, safety and overall satisfaction. TLD Logistics (TLD)
Platform Science equipped TLD with a suite of integrated fleet applications designed to streamline driver workflows, enhance operational efficiency, and enable seamless data-driven decision-making. With real-time data, customizable features, and centralized control, these tools help TLD manage applications across its fleet of 330 trucks to boost efficiency, improve compliance, and enable faster adaptation to operational demands. Platform Science announced a strategic partnership with MapUp, a leading provider of software-defined fuel and toll solutions. MapUp's products are now integrated with Platform Science's advanced telematics capabilities, offering a comprehensive solution for fleet operators seeking to optimize fuel and toll-related expenses and enhance operational efficiency. NFI
NFI selected Platform Science’s Instinct Fleet Solutions to improve fleet safety, regulatory compliance, and operational efficiency. The solution will also enhance the driver experience for 3,200 trucks within NFI’s dedicated fleet service offering. Cummins
Cummins Inc. announced a partnership with Platform Science to introduce Vehicle Health Intelligence, the newest native Virtual Vehicle integration. Cummins transitioned its Connected Solutions portal — which enables fleets to seamlessly access a range of features and capabilities — to the Virtual Vehicle platform. Learn more >>
Hyundai
Platform Science announced the newest addition to the Virtual Vehicle Marketplace with the inclusion of Hyundai Translead’s HT LinkVue. HT LinkVue is a 360-degree trailer camera system that boosts driver visibility, reduces blind spots, and ensures accuracy in tight dock maneuvers. Learn more >>
USER GROUPS
Direct Access, Real Impact: Reflecting on Our 2025 User Group Series
In 2025, Platform Science hosted seven user group events across the country, providing an intimate space for fleet leaders to exchange real-world experiences, share ideas with peers, and collaborate directly with the Platform Science product, training, and success teams. Through specialized breakout sessions, attendees gained the latest product knowledge and hands-on experience in the Connected Vehicle Lab (CVL). We look forward to continuing this experience in 2026.

TRADESHOWS & EVENTS
Platform Science had a busy and engaging year on the road, connecting with users and fleets, and traveling with our Connected Vehicle Lab truck around the U.S. Some of the year’s highlights include:
- Traveling with the Connected Vehicle Lab truck to the American Trucking Associations' (ATA) Technology and Maintenance Council (TMC) annual meeting, the ATA 2025 Management Conference & Exhibition (MCE), and Trimble Insight Tech Conference
- Participating in seven state association annual conferences
- Hosting a Platform Science Customer Appreciation Event in San Diego during ATA MCE
- Hosting sessions during Trimble Insight covering topics like fleet performance, video safety, and compliance best practices, as well as staffing a Demo Lab with top new products and in-person customer support
- Celebrating McLeod Software's 40th anniversary at their user conference and learning more about AI, cybersecurity, and the future of trucking
